# Focus Mode

Focus mode is a feature available for annotations created using [cuboid](/project-setup/create-recipe/2.-classes.md#cuboid-3d) in point cloud. It is present on the [header](https://docs.imerit-prod.io/annotation-tool/key-features/pages/t1P8d2reKe3nZWAkN2Kh#id-1.-header) and gets enabled on selecting a cuboid.

## Steps to use Focus Mode

1. Enable the 'Focus' toggle from the [header](https://docs.imerit-prod.io/annotation-tool/key-features/pages/t1P8d2reKe3nZWAkN2Kh#id-1.-header) of the annotation tool after selecting a cuboid.

2. An option appears under the toggle to view it from different angles to set dimensions accurately.

3. Click on the Front, Side and Top views to adjust the size of the cuboid.
   1. Top View: View object from the top  ( Shortcut: `Shift + D`)

   2. Side View: View object from the side  ( Shortcut: `Shift + S)`

   3. Front View: View object from the front  ( Shortcut: `Shift + A`)

   4. 3D View, allows the user to view it in an angle, 3 dimensionally

4. Excluded Points Opacity: This slider allows the user to control the opacity of the points that fall outside the selected cuboid. This helps in better visibility of the included points while setting dimensions.
